Professional Time-lapse Painting Sessions
**Mastering Art through Visual Observation** Welcome to the free learning hub of Magenta Painting Academy. Our **Free Painting Tutorials** are designed for artists who want to dive deep into the world of professional painting. In this exclusive series, Arghavan Khatami shares her artistic journey through high-quality time-lapse videos. We believe that sometimes, watching the movement of the brush and the blending of pigments speaks louder than words. These sessions are curated to provide a clear, unobstructed view of the canvas, making it easier for you to follow the rhythm of creation.
You might notice that these videos are accelerated and do not contain verbal narration. This is a deliberate choice for this series of **Free Painting Tutorials**. Time-lapse photography allows you to see the "big picture" of a painting's evolution. It highlights the structural stages—from the initial sketch to the final glaze—that are often lost in real-time recording. By removing the commentary, we invite you to focus entirely on the visual language of art: the pressure of the stroke, the direction of the light, and the patience required to build texture.
** The most crucial element of these tutorials is the visible **color palette**. In every session, the palette is positioned clearly within the frame. This is where the magic happens. You can observe the exact proportions of oil or acrylic mix, how Arghavan transitions from warm to cool tones, and the specific pigments used for skin tones or landscapes. Mastering the palette is 50% of the painting process. We encourage students in Düsseldorf and worldwide to pause the video at key moments to study these color recipes and try to replicate them in their own studios.
