Our mission at Magenta is to demystify complex painting techniques and present them in an academic, structured, and accessible way. We firmly believe that with the right methodology, any student—regardless of their current skill level—can master the visual language of painting, the logic of color, and the construction of a professional composition. To ensure seamless learning, instruction is offered bilingually in English, German and Persian (Farsi).
Founder & Instructor: Arghavan Khatami
The pedagogical and artistic direction of all departments at Magenta is led by Arghavan Khatami, a contemporary painter based in Germany. With over 20 years of professional experience in art creation and international teaching, she is a distinguished expert in Realism, Hyperrealism, and Impressionistic landscapes.
Her works are internationally acclaimed for their masterful interplay of light and shadow (Chiaroscuro) and their expressive rendering of human emotions. Her global achievements include reaching the semi-finals of the prestigious 17th International ARC Salon (selected from over 5,000 worldwide entries) and having her artwork selected for the “Lunar Codex”. This piece was chosen to be launched into space as part of a digital time capsule on a NASA mission to the Moon—an eternal recognition of contemporary art preservation, certified by the Art Renewal Center.

3. Step-by-Step Learning Packages Department (Video Courses)
For those who prefer to manage their learning pace independently, Magenta offers more than 300 hours of specialized video training for oil painting.
